We finally have the radiocarbon dates back from a site that was excavated in 2008 (see projects page - Hangingshaws, Lockerbie). Five of the ten features (nine pits and one posthole) uncovered were dated and the results revealed a difference between the pits of 3000yrs - indicating that the site was used (or reused) over a long period of time. A publication is currently being progressed.

Rebecca Shaw Archaeological Services established a facebook page in May 2013 www.facebook.com/RebeccaShawArchaeologicalServices?ref=hl  specifically to keep people updated with the Cree Valley Community Woodlands Trust archaeology project (see Cree Valley Project page) as well as other company activities.
